Greater Manchester Music Commission to Showcase Diverse Talent at Focus Wales 2025

The Greater Manchester Music Commission (GMMC) is thrilled to announce its upcoming showcase at Focus Wales in Wrexham this May. The event is part of GMMC’s commitment to promoting Greater Manchester’s vibrant music scene on a global stage.

Taking place on Friday, 9th May, in the Ty Pawb Flexible Space, the showcase will feature some of Greater Manchester’s most exciting and boundary-pushing artists. Body Water, known for their experimental post-punk chaos, better joy with their melancholic indie-electronica, DEAFDEAFDEAF delivering intense and visceral post-punk, and Georgian’s bold, genre-blending alternative rock will all perform.

In addition to the showcase, GMMC will host a delegate reception at 12pm, offering attendees the chance to learn about the commission’s work in supporting and promoting music across Greater Manchester. The reception will provide a unique opportunity to explore collaboration and discuss strategies for growing the music industry both regionally and internationally.
